MELT Method

Heather Dennis, Pilates, Somatics, and MELT Method instructor, Nova ScotiaMelt Method is a system of using soft foam rollers and small balls to release, restore and rehydrate your muscles and connective tissue.

Gentle pressure applied to the feet and hands with small balls and to the rest of the body with the soft MELT roller helps to gain more awareness of where unnecessary tension is held in the body.

It is an easy technique to learn and can be a great self-treatment tool to restore and rejuvenate you after a run, a workout or as a means to relaxing before going to bed. It also helps to maintain the benefits of massage and other bodywork.
