Workshops are where you go deep instead of wide. Each one is built around a specific area of the body, a joint, a system, a pattern of movement, and gives you the understanding and the tools to create real, lasting change in that area.
This is not a sampler. It is precision work. And the results tend to surprise people.
Each workshop is pre-recorded so you can work through it entirely on your own schedule, at your own pace, as many times as you need.
You will need a few simple props, Pilates balls, bands, blocks, depending on the workshop. Everything is listed clearly before you begin.
What you will get inside every workshop is instruction that explains not just what to do but why your body does what it does, time to explore and feel the movement rather than just perform it, and Heather's signature cueing that takes you inside the body rather than just moving it through its paces.

Save Our Shoulders
Your shoulders were not designed to ache. They were designed to reach, lift, carry, pull and rotate with ease and intelligence. When they stop doing that, it is almost never a shoulder problem. It is a movement pattern problem, specifically how your shoulder blade moves, or more accurately how it stopped moving the way it should.
This workshop restores that. Through targeted movement sequences that re-educate the relationship between your shoulder blade, your ribcage and your arm, you will recover range of motion, reduce pain and understand your shoulder in a way that changes how you use it for the rest of your life.
This one is for you if you have chronic shoulder tension, limited overhead reach, a rotator cuff history, or simply a shoulder that never feels quite right.

Happy Hips
Your hips are the foundation of almost everything your body does. Walking, climbing stairs, getting up from the floor, hiking, gardening, reaching into the back seat of your car. When your hips are stiff, compressed or imbalanced, you feel it everywhere. In your knees. In your lower back. In the way you move through the world.
Happy Hips addresses the joint imbalances that cause hip stiffness, pain and instability, through movement that targets the specific muscles, connective tissue and joint mechanics involved. Not stretching for its own sake. Targeted mobilization that actually changes how the joint feels and functions.

Hi, I’m Heather!
At 69, I am living my passion. I love teaching women how to get stronger, move better and reclaim confidence in themselves and their lives. I know what it’s like to live in an ageing body.
It can be a challenge. Especially since our culture sets the bar very low for women over 55. I just don't accept that. I've designed a process that will keep you feeling younger than your years in mind and body.
I love to hike and swim and ride my bike. I enjoy good conversation and movies that make me cry. I love to curl up with a good book. I can’t wait to meet you in my studio and get to know you too!
